    The story : Apocalypto (2006)

The Maya kingdom faces decay as rulers insist that the key to prosperity is building more temples and offering human sacrifices. When the role of the Jaguar captives is hidden, his pregnant wife and son are hidden in a deep hole in a place near the tribe and captured as he fights with his people. By doing an eclipse of the sun saves him from death so that this is the turning point in his life and then he can escape and struggles to survive and save his family from certain death.

تواجه مملكة المايا الاضمحلال حيث يصر الحكام على أن مفتاح الازدهار هو بناء المزيد من المعابد وتقديم القرابين البشرية وعندما يحين الدور على آسر قبيلة (جاغوار) يخفي زوجته الحامل وابنه في حفرة عميقة في مكان قرب القبيلة ويتم آسره بينما كان يقاتل مع شعبه، وبحلول موعد التضحية به يحدث كسوف للشمس ينقذه من الموت لتكن تلك هي نقطة التحول في حياته وبعد ذلك يتمكن من الهرب ويكافح من أجل البقاء على قيد الحياة وإنقاذ عائلته من الموت الأكيد.
